  • After our all day event with guests and extended family, it was time to go shopping to work out all of the delicious food we had partaken of. After all, it was still Christmas Day and I wanted to buy more gifts for my daughters since they got me such a thoughtful gift. They know their dad so very well, as they got me a book entitled "Other People's Love Letters: 150 Letters You Were Never Meant to See." We stopped by this cosmetics store that my youngest daughter was gushing over. She knew exactly what she wanted - lipstick, makeup kits, etc. And the sales associate that assisted her, who appeared to be the only one working there during this holiday, was just excellent in her presentation, professionalism, and attitude. We were just so very impressed with her patience and product knowledge. I must say that even though I have little knowledge of cosmetics, I was quite impressed with the casings for this brand's products. Needless to say, I was sold, and I wasn't even buying for myself. My daughter bought lipstick, and the sales associate presented her with other options for makeup, and she liked those too. Then, my daughter looks at me with those doe like eyes that I have trouble saying "No" to, and I tell the sales associate to get one of those as well. Yes, we spent well over $$$ by the time I walked out of there, and all the stuff she purchased fit in this little bag. If we were judging her purchase by weight and volume, this was not a good value! However, the quality of the merchandise, the helpfulness of the lone staff they had in that store during the holiday, and my daughter's gratitude made it all so very worthwhile. It was certainly a wonderful experience from our standpoint.
