We tried this place out for the first time on a Saturday in March. From the reviews I had read on here, I knew there would be a short wait. I think we waited about 20-30 minutes (which was a little longer than i was expecting). Unfortunately there was no good place to wait either. We constantly felt we were standing in someone's way. The wait did give us a chance to admire their beautiful looking pies, which we did not have room to try after we had lunch.
When it was our turn, someone called our names over a microphone and then told us where to go sit. We found our seats and waited for the waiter. There were 3 menus at the table so we were able to start looking through what they had to offer. The waiter came and took our drink order but never brought us a fourth menu. He also never introduced himself.
After looking over the entire menu the only thing that really jumped out at me was their milk shakes and ice creams. Nothing else really jumped out at me and made me think "Oh wow that is really different and sounds really good?". I think it is a good basic breakfast place to those who are vegetarians or gluten free! But for the rest of us it isn't anything spectacular. I had an omelette which was fine, though the biscuit that came with it was tasty. My friend had asked the waiter for a refill on his water which never came and my coffee never got refilled until we had finished eating after all the dishes and utensils were taken away so i couldn't stir my cream or sugar.
To sum things up:
This place was just an average diner that didn't have a wow factor to anything.
Would be a good place for those seeking vegetarian/gluten free options and are just wanting "normal/ordinary" breakfast/lunch options.
I would not venture back for a second time.
