  • Recently I was looking to apply for an internal promotion with my current company and it required a resume. When I went into my profile and saw my resume, I knew I had a problem. My resume in my profile was originally written when I was in college 20 years ago and had been altered slightly over the years. This was not going to cut it as I showed it my mentor and he said that he would not attach my current resume to any posting. I now needed to find a company to do this as I was not aware of the time, effort and technique that was involved in putting a truly professional resume together. I looked on-line and found Perfect Resume. Kent was very patient with me and explained the process. I was impressed with his knowledge of my industry. This was a very detail oriented process from the initial interview, filling out the job specific questionnaire to the conversation after the resume was completed to make minor changes to the final version. The interview was about 20 minutes and then I spent an hour or so on the questionnaire as I went in the the recesses of my memory to remember all that I have done during my career to the final call that was about 10-15 minutes. I have already been telling my colleagues that if they ever need a resume that they should get in contact with Kent and his team at Perfect Resume. My mentor looked at my updated resume and said this was a resume worth showing to potential hiring managers.
