| - Attempted to stop here for brunch on Sunday and was pretty appalled by the service and slowness. When we walked in the hostess awkwardly asked us where we wanted to sit in a way that made us feel like we weren't very wanted there, so not a great start.
We sat ourselves outside only discover that the top of the table was not completely attached to the legs. We figured this would be fine so we brushed it off. I asked for ice water but our waitress said they did not have ice. We ordered an avocado smash, chicken salad, and a clubhouse sandwich. 10 minutes later the waitress returned to tell us they were "out" of the clubhouse, and stood over my boyfriend until he ordered the burger.
We then proceeded to wait 40 minutes for our food. We watched many people around as waiting for their food too, and a lady go into the restaurant to get a coffee refill. We got one water refill during this hour. I'd like to note that the restaurant was not particularly busy and there seemed to me lots of people working.
After waiting for a long time our waitress told us our food was finally "on its way." We waited 10 more minutes, then the hostess from when we first arrived asked us if we'd gotten menus. We said we'd actually been waiting a very long time for our food. She said she'd find our waitress to check on our food, without any apologies or niceties.
When she came back, she said our waitress was "checking on our food," but we saw her on the other side of the patio waiting on someone else. Annoyed and starving, we told the hostess we were going to go. We ended up eating at Harvey's.
We were all pretty in awe of the awful, verging on non-existent, service we received here. I've never had to leave a restaurant due to waiting for too long before. The portion sizes I did see people get served looked extremely small for the prices being charged.
