  • I do not write reviews often, but after seeing the older reviews of Shea Women's Care I felt compelled to do so! Let me begin by mentioning that my husband is a Dr. and we could have had our choice of any physician in the valley. HE selected Dr. Martin after interviewing many OBGYN's. He was impressed by her knowledge and expertise not to mention her phenomenal education. And, I was as well once I started seeing Dr. Martin. I will not get into details but my water broke in the early afternoon and my son was not born until the early morning the next day. I now have a beautiful baby boy and Dr. Martin helped me every step of the way. She came to check on me multiple times - to the point I felt bad because I wanted her to get some sleep! I felt like she really was watching over us every step of the way. I actually left the hospital after delivery and, on my way home, told my husband that I always felt like I was in good hands! Dr. Martin took the time to answer all of my questions (which, as a first time mom, I had many!) and always made me feel comfortable. We would love to have a second child and I know that, when that day happens, I will see Dr. Martin and her practice again. Everyone in this office is absolutely wonderful and I cannot help but think that the few poor reviews (which are old I may mention) are from just a couple of outliers who had the time to write scathing reviews. We love this practice!
