So the movie options in Madison are not the best. We usually get films after they've been out in major cities for about a week. And there are no Art Houses. But for a long time, that problem was remedied, at least in part, but the Sundance. Great food and drink, excellent staff, and really good movies - with an emphasis on indy films. The AMC "dine-in" is not only not as good as the Sundance, but it's actually worse than other theaters in town like the Fitchburg and the Marcus Point. The food is dreadful - (how hard is it to mess up popcorn?), the beverage selection stinks, and the staff is nice but overwhelmed. And it gets the usual movies - nothing special. Oh well.
