| - I have to give them a 5, because Dr. Gulzeth & her staff really care about the animals & the owners! Took my pup Shadow in for the whole round of first shots & the advantage multi treatment. Right in, no waiting and was able to get in within a week. I liked the Doc's approach - instead of trying to lift my wolf girl onto a table & prodding, she got down on dog-level and starting checking her out from there, talking nicely the whole time. Shadow liked her, she did a thorough check up, gave shots & the dog was trauma free! Trauma free for me too - I didnt squeal when i got the bill. Under $200, including 6 months of meds. Really? HOORAY!
So a month later when Shadow was ready for her big surgery, I was prob more scared than the dog. I had another dog who didn't do well with the surgery, and I was miserable too. But I liked Dr. Gulzeth, and it is close to home, so I went there for Shadow's spay. Dropped her off on my way in to work, called at noon to see how she was doing & picked her up at 3:30. Not only was the dog fine, but they had pain meds & doggy tranq's ready for her too. Which helped a ton! It kept her quiet, sleepy and resting for several days while she healed. I stayed with her for a week, and she never needed the dreaded E-collar of doggy shame....now, all better! Not afraid of the vet! And under $200!
Great vet. Highly highly recommend!
