First of all I am not a big fan of the new theater system where you have to either go to hours in advance to buy your tickets to get a seat or buy your tickets online and get charged a $7 service fee.
With this being said we went to go see the new Incredibles 2 today all five of us and Harkins system was down. Okay I totally understand systems go down that's fine. The person who takes the tickets says since I bought my tickets online and have assigned seating that I can ask anybody to move from my seats and if I don't feel comfortable doing that but I need to talk to a Harkins rep. We enter the theater and see there is a group sitting on our assigned seats so I asked them to move and they did not so I went to the Harkins rep and told them the situation and she said it was a free-for-all since the systems were down.
If it were me I would have been standing at the door of the theater checking people's tickets they purchased online and their assigned seats and then maybe escorting them to their assigned seat instead of just letting it be a free-for-all.
Again I am not a big fan of this system of going to the movies now these days. I'll add the prices are way too expensive,...... waiting for Redbox seems more reasonable.
