  • This is the best place to paint painting around. I went to the competition tonight and the only reason I came out with a good painting was because of what I learned at #pwatcharlotte! The setup at PWAT is more conducive, there isn't a bad seat in the house and the monitors are great because they really allow you to see what the "artender" is doing. While I'm on the "artender"- I've been to PWAT Charlotte twice and both teachers have been great. They were engaging and fun as well as being good teachers. There is also an assistant who walks around to help you (not present at the competition). Even though they sell over priced beverages and snacks at the other place there is no place for the drinks/food you bring in or your other personal items. All is all Painting Without A Twist is the superior choice- stay away from all others!
