  • Was in line at Paradise (Panera) next door where I know I love their coffee, but the line was shorter at Cartel and they had a less commercial, more modern look. Ordering and paying was a breeze using their iPad kiosks. Unfortunately, service dragged on a bit long. I waited 10 minutes for a small latte and watched the line next door dwindle in the mean time. The drink was pretty but nothing special. The barista did craft a pretty little steamed milk heart. Overall I was unimpressed by the service. They weren't overtly rude, in fact, they were polite enough, but a coffee shouldn't take that long, especially with only a handful of patrons in line.
