  • I arrived at 11:00am on a Friday in July 2016 to ship an envelope to Johannesburg. I was the only customer there and received helpful, attentive, and first class service from MELANI. She looked through her international shipping guide and made suggestions on labeling that saved me headaches later that could have come up from the South African government. Having said that, this UPS shipping office is small, and there are only two scales and two cash registers. If you arrive during a rush, be prepared for a wait. The service is great at this location, but if your choice to arrive during rush hour and a longer service line is going to frustrate you, consider paying a few extra bucks and going to a shopping center UPS retail outlet with shorter lines. Sending UPS packages, especially internationally, takes careful label preparations, payments, signatures, etc. The people ahead of you in line will take an extra minute or two with the clerks to make sure everything is perfect. This location is fantastic if you choose to show up in the middle of the day. On the other hand, be patient and polite if you show up after 4:30pm and you see everyone else in town waiting in a line out the door in the hot sun for service. It's a small shipping office. The associates there will do the best they can.
