| - Compared to last time I was here, this was a much better experience. I stopped in for brunch last weekend with the intent of having a bloody Mary, only to end up having breakfast and two drinks. First off, Jaime at the bar is a really great server. She's attentive, outgoing, and friendly. She's the type of person that wants you to enjoy yourself and will make sure you do - so props to her. For breakfast, I enjoyed their rendition of lox and cream cheese. Instead of being served with a bagel, it came with two thick slices of toasted marble rye bread. In addition to the bread, an assortment of toppings, including tomato, lettuce, and onion were served. Their jalapeno cream cheese is served on the side as is an aioli sauce (although I felt it was unnecessary). The bloody Mary bar was well stocked and clean. For the alcohol in my drinks, I opted to try their house infused vodkas. Lastly, I enjoyed chatting with the two female cooks behind the counter. They were extremely friendly and interesting.
I really wish every time I went to Benjamins was as good as this experience.
