| - I signed for this service about two years ago, after contacting them by phone. Talked with agent and thought that it was kind of expensive, so he decided to offer me a two years contract of just monitoring and equipment. The service seems to be okay, until you let them know, that you won't renew the contract (that I thought was for two years), per original conversation with agent. Was going to move and I didn't want to continue service, so then rep. told me that if I wanted to cancel contract, I needed to pay for the rest of the service, which was for 42 months, for an amount of close to $1000, instead of the 24 months that I thought it was. You don't have a copy of the contract when you okay the service, but they would tell you to check the contract on line, and then you will see the reality. Mine was for 42 months. Anyway, I didn't want to pay the $1000.00, so I agreed to move the service to the new address. Agent told me that they would give me a discount an installation, for being a veteran. Yesterday, my bank account was charged $150.00 for the installation, when it should have been of less than $100.00 (monthly payment and installation). Tried to get the bill for the website, to take look at the individual charges, and was unable to do so. After I loggin, didn't find a way to see my statements, and following instructions, I did not get any help. I'm computer literate and tried every way possible, to get to the area where I could get the statements and was unsuccessful. Tried to chat with someone on site, and waited for quiet a few minutes, without any success at all. Very dissapointing and I would not recommend this company to anybody. You are better off by buying from another security company. They are very tricky and not helpful at all. After I get out of this contract, I would get rid of them, like a hot potato.
