  • My boyfriend and I are escape room enthusiasts and have done nearly 40 escape rooms so far. We have done 9 out of their 10 rooms so far. We have not done The Usual Suspects as we were told it's more like an appetizer for people that are already experienced with escape rooms. We have been going to Escape Rooms Mesa since when they first opened and have watched them grow into the great business they've become. We've enjoyed all of their rooms (some more than others) and feel their puzzles are very clever and well thought out. You can definitely see how the complexity and design of their puzzles and rooms have advanced in their more recently crafted rooms compared to their original rooms. One thing I can't say enough good stuff about is their customer service. They are on-point with that. From the owners to the owners' son to the other employees, every interaction has been great. They are very accommodating and very friendly and personable. They are very easy to reach regardless of if it's by phone, email or online chat. Also, they do very well with monitoring each game and staying on top of where the players are in it to make sure they deliver a timely, appropriate clue when asked. My three favorite rooms here are probably Roswell, The Lost Dutchman and Writer's Retreat. One tip I can give is to wait at least one month from when a new room comes out before trying it. We found out from personal experience (with Hansel & Gretel) that it takes them a bit of time to work out any bugs and tweak the puzzles in the beginning before everything flows smoothly. So it's a good idea to let them get that ironed out first before trying the room because you might not have as good of an experience as you could've had you just waited a little bit of time. Overall, I think these guys know what they're doing and they create great rooms that provide good, wholesome entertainment for friends, families and even co-workers!
