  • Here's the hilarious thing - I used to walk by here ALL THE TIME, but never always assumed that it was just a regular hot dog stand. It was until recently that I realized that this hot dog stand was selling something different: ELK and SWEET POTATOES. What?! This definitely deserved a better look. So obviously, I searched for this online. I found out that this little place was called "Marianne's Snack Shack" - serving delicious gamey meat. Rumour has it that her baked sweet potatoes are absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, I wasn't in the mood for sweet potato or game meat. However, I had myself a delicious pulled pork sandwich for $6. Not only this, Marianne is the sweetest lady ever. It was her birthday that day too! What a great way to first try out Marianne's Snack Shack.
