Definitely feels like every time I have been here in the evening time, the store seems to be understaffed. Especially in the bakery department. The call to reach them at the service desk took aprx 8min on a dead evening. It seemed like the manager was on the line, he personally came back and took care of the request I had. He kept composure, was very polite, and professional. No doubt they have the right personal. But to have gone out of my way to call the front desk twice in order to get a hold of someone in the store because no Safeway staff were to be found on the floor in any department is not up to standard. At all.
