Took my dog Lola in for a 1st visit this week after I noticed a hard lump on her gums. We were terrified. We saw Dr. Bob, who was very gentle with Lola - and us. He discussed a few possibilities and had another doctor come in and confer.
Luckily, it turned out to be a benign tumor that could be removed (cauterized) without removing teeth. Dr. Bob did not try to scare us or up-sell us. He was frank about telling us that since anethesia is about 1/2 the cost of the removal, it would be cost-effective to also do a dental cleaning at the same time. He did not pressure us into that at all, nor did he pile on a bunch of lab tests for our healthy 4yo Lola.
Dr. Bob updated us on Lola after her surgery and she arrived home groggy but happy. He said if she had any problems or got an infection, to bring her back at no cost! They even clipped her nails!! Her teeth are super-white and 24 hours later, she doesn't appear to be in any pain at all - she's back to her normal, party girl self. I also got an e-card for Lola from them for her upcoming birthday - how cute!!
They have earned our loyalty and we will be happy to call on All Creatures Animal Hospital, and Dr. Bob, in the future.
