  • This Place is Lots of Smoke and Mirrors. Schnazzy Decor/Ambience, Somewhat Friendly Service, Pretty Decent Salad Bar, Good Mojito Beverage to Lull you in... Then Comes the Meat on the Stick from the Fancy Gauchos! Pretty Bad Meat... I somewhat enjoyed 2 out of the 8 options. Much of the meat was too chewy, iron/blood flavored. The 2 options I enjoyed were the parmesan pork and the beef sirloin (only when sliced reallllly thin) The Pineapple was good. At $42 / plate plus tip for a buffet style meal, I saw this as an easy One Star decision for overall value. I'd much rather go to Johnny Delmonico's or the like and spend $42 on a wonderful steak dinner that isn't sheared off of a stick in front of my face by Gauchos. Or I'll go to Knoche's butcher shop and buy a high quality chunk of meat for $6 - $15 / lb and grill it to my liking on my Weber. Today was my First and Last Visit to Samba. Not upset I went, now I know, and I now that I know, I know I will never go back nor recommend this place to anyone. Steer Clear! You Can Do Much Better! On to the next...
