  • I was forced to give this rescue a star! I have text messages where the owner/president named Shelly called me a cold heart B. Due to not getting a dog that once was adopted out by this rescue back to the rescue! I tried to get Sam back with Sadie his sister per her request. She has made uneducated comments and twisted them around. I have texts were she tells me to take this dog to the pound and I was being cold hearted due to he might be put down? Not true the pound took him in on a medical issue and released him back to me. I got more help from the pound then rotten rottie rescue Shelly claims to have a heart attack and medical issues herself... I told her I would pray for her strength so she could continue her rescue. I have made a file and printed out all correspondence from this rescue since I will not press charges as of yet for her cussing /verbally abuse is disorderly conduct and it is a misdemeanor in the eyes of the court. My husband has also made request and we also kept all of those texts for future claims. The emotional stress this rescue has placed on our family is horrible. Shelly even claims that none of her dogs would pass as a service dog, as to why we got the dog. So what good is a contract if it states the dog must come back to the rescue and is not to be given away ( as Sam & Sadie was given to us and Jay/Jeremy) but she will not enforce her own contracts and take the dogs back? What rescue tells us to take the dog to the pound and as she said to do twice and then she screams at us that he will be euthanized! Then she makes uneducated comments like, " we need to seek mental health advise? Again all in texts." I feel this rescue needs to replace Shelly is she is unable to make educated comments/decisions and she makes the rescue looks unprofessional. There will be a BBB inquisition and the texts/emails will be sent to them as proof.
