  • I don't understand all the hate on the Monte Carlo. If you're visiting Vegas, you could do much worse: you get a reasonable rate, one of the best locations on the Strip, a clean and modern hotel, and you're a short walk to the Bellagio to do all the Vegas stuff you really want to do, fountains, restaurants, Cirque, classy gambling etc. And hey if you take one of those Xanex that's only supposed to be for flying, shoot vodka at Diablo's, stand before the fountain out front and close your eyes and have your significant other whisper in your ear in French, you'll almost trick yourself into thinking you're at the real Monte Carlo. Tre fantastique!
