  • Hillman has been a bright spot during a rather bleak experience with cancer. The care here is unmatched, the doctors are caring, the nursing and reception staff are extremely friendly and everyone seems to genuinely care about your well-being. It can be pretty busy here and wait times can be longer than you are comfortable with, but I'd rather wait for great care than get fast, mediocre care. During chemo treatments, they offer lunches, snacks, and drinks for free including sandwiches, chips, sodas, juice, and water. There is also a cafe that has fresh salads and soups. There's a wig shop that offers styling lessons as well. There is also valet parking because parking in Shadyside can be stressful. I would absolutely recommend making the trip into Hillman for treatment. It has really helped make going through treatment more pleasant for my entire family.
