I didn't make it past the front desk.
I was referred to Dr. Newman. When I arrived I showed my insurance cards... Immediately I was told they did not accept my insurance. After calling my doctor, I realized that I showed an insurance card that was not valid among the others that were valid..... the person at the front desk didn't seem to want to understand that I did have the correct insurance. I was not very happy with this experience.
I am new to medicare and assumed (incorrectly) that someone that deals with insurance on a daily basis would have seen that there were too many insurance cards and that as a referral..... the insurance was verified prior to my arrival.
In today's world customer service is worth it weight in gold!
