| - This motel (fomerly Clarion, formerly Days Inn, formerly Days Hotel) is now owned by "a small company." Beware: It's STILL listed as a Days Inn on certain web-search sites!!
Now it's the "Scottsdale Inn". Same trash, different name.
While their rates are low-end, so are the rooms: Dirty Noisy Poorly renovated.
During our stay, we heard screaming\partying well into the wee hours of the morning. On our way to check out (early) we heard a woman SCREAMING (perhaps the same one?) these phrases:
"No, I DON'T want sex with you."
"I said NO, quit trying to rape me" (yep, her words; we told the front desk to call 911)
Outside the room, there was a scruffy guy, smoking a cigarette, with an idiot grin on his face. He was likely the shunned lothario.
Other noise included old style AC units that sounded like 747 engines, early morning clattering cleaning carts (0700), and EVERY word of every conversation by people walking up and down the outside room-access walkway.
Finally, the website photos of this motel were photo-shopped. On the web, the front of the hotel has a nice, clean, brick facade on its drive-through. In reality, there's a big, blue, ugly tarp covering its former "Days Inn" sign.
The interior patio was lovely and peaceful. The rest of the motel? Not so much.
