  • Museums like the ROM is a city's treasures displayed for its citizens and visitors to admire. Disparate wings devoted to natural history, Greek, Egyptian, and Asian art, dinosaurs, and design give one the sense that Toronto's treasures are vast in scope. However, one senses that perhaps ROM is just a tad overstretched. The dinosaurs are not complete skeletons. The Asian art wing seems cramped and disjointed at the same time. The Egyptian section was small. ROM is perfect for those wishing to graze on some science, history and culture. And as Toronto grows older and richer, the exhibits here will also become richer and deeper.
