  • You know, I wish I had read these first. I actually had a great salesperson who helped me suss out just what I was looking for. So score there. BUT - Drove around and picked up the table, the blond wood table which I had just purchased, drove home, unloaded it the next day to put together and upon unwrapping found - a BLACK Painted distressed table. Honestly, this wouldn't have been the end of the world if they had just handled the exchange properly. But no. And I've Been in customer service. One - don't sound annoyed when a customer wants you to do your job. Very offputting. Essentially, I called and spoke with a woman who continually paused to grunt in disgust, "Unh!" and continued condescendingly to explain to me that I was wrong, that wood just came in "various shades." Finally she half conceded and said that I could come down to the warehouse and "pick out the shade that was the one I wanted, because [they] couldn't know." After explaining repeatedly to her that variety in wood grain and shade was not the same as the difference between light blond wood and black painted wood, she "UNh!!" finally went and checked my order and came back and admitted that the wrong sku had been entered for my order. OOooooohhhhh. Whoops. I explained again exactly which table it was, where it was on the floor, she assured me she was fixing it so that it was That table, and I said that they needed to deliver the table this time - I wouldn't be going through that again. Ok, in one week, they would deliver the blond wood table and pick up the black one. Fine. One week later, the delivery guys show up, I stupidly peek inside the packing and see . . . a Mahogany stained table. No kidding. I was speechless for a moment and finally decided that I didn't have the energy to go through all that again and after explaining my face to the workmen, I just said, "I'll just keep it. I don't care anymore." I DID care. But I didn't feel like arguing for another 40 minutes on the phone, waiting Another week, having no table, etc. So I have the wrong table, which yes I accepted, and I think their customer service and delivery of product (not driving - but actual store to warehouse communication or something in the warehouse) is Very Bad. I will never go here again and never recommend it to anyone. Uunh!!!
