If you have browsed through my older reviews you might have read about my experience with another dealership in town which messed up all three services I had with them.
I ended up in doing as much as possible on my own but now a major inspection was due.
To be honest: I wasn't expecting much when I chose South Centre Fine Cars as one of the major challenges is, that many dealerships do 8k-intervall services instead of the VW recommended intervals of 15k and they are basically not different.
Surprisingly they were very open to my request getting the service as I want to have it done.
The apointment was straight forward: no wait time when I dropped my car, the complementary shuttle was already waiting, the pickup from downtown in the afternoon was right on time, the price for the inspection was within the announced range and they even subtracted a fill-up I excluded when dropping of my car in the morning.
It seems like I have finally found a dealership to go for service with my car :)
Why four stars and not five? I still think that the whole 8k-service interval is a horrendous rip-off (what I got confirmed in writing from VW Germany) and that's what they offer as standard as well. Why not use the longer service intervals from VW as a sales advantage compared to other brands? Please VW dealers, wake up and go with the time!
