In my opinion- it's best time to go to the Hofbrauhaus is on an off time of the day. I met up with some friends from other of town for Sunday lunch at 12:45 pm and we got seated right away. We didn't sit on the main dining room, but sat in the quieter dining room area where it was quieter and we could catch up. Perfect for families of all ages.
For an appetizer, we order the 4 pretzels with beer cheese. They were delicious and the perfect amount to share.
For my main course - I ordered the spaetzle with shredded chicken and mushrooms and a side of potato pancakes. I had never tried this before - but now it will be my go-to.
Our waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu - she suggested what beers for me to try.
For dessert- we split the cinnamon pretzel with cream cheese icing. I loved it and would definitely get it again.
Overall, I enjoyed my experience at the Hofbrauhaus and will be back again soon.
