Geauga Lake was always like a bastard son. Cedar Point was clearly better in every way. My family would come here and unleash our inner Appalachian vibes. My favorite feature of the park was not a ride. It was a person who rode the ride called "The Rotor". The ride was a giant circle that spun around really fast and made everyone stick to the walls because of centripetal force. Then the floor would drop out. This ride makes a lot of people puke. I think it made an individual known as the Rotor Guy not puke. He would hide behind the exit door and wait 'til everyone got off the ride and he would stay on. He rode the damn thing all day, every day. The staff would let him do it. He looked crazy as hell. The ride sucked. Raging Wolf Bobs or whatever was alright. The Double Loop was alright. Actually, Geauga Lake sucked and that is why I liked it. It was full of hillbillies. The Wave was disgusting. I scraped my knees on it and thought for sure I would get a disease and die. Turtle Beach was funny. I feel like listening to Minnie Riperton's "Back Down Memory Lane" now.
