  • I have been here a couple of times before during lunch time. I always got the pasta with a creamy garlic sauce and lobster, scallop, and shrimp. I usually get it substituted with angel hair pasta. I also really love the caprese salad. It was my absolute favorite Italian place with the amazing service and food. I raved about it to my husband because I usually came with a friend. We decided to come in last night for my husband's birthday dinner. He had high hopes for this place because of my description. I came in and I was so disappointed because it was supposed to be special for my husband's birthday. We were greeted by a friendly young man who graciously led us to a booth and made joke with us. He was incredibly helpful with explaining the special menu. He was the best person on staff tonight. I wish I got his name. The server, William greeted us by asking us if we wanted to start off with waters. No smile. I told him iced water would be fine for me. My husband asked if there was sparkling water so the server said 'okay' and rushed off. He came back with a large bottle of Pelligrino and began to pour in the glass in front of me. I apologized and said the sparkling water was just for my husband. He looked at me as if I was being an inconvenience to him and told the busser 'can you get water for the lady?' And the both of them rushed off. It is fine that there was a misunderstanding but I didn't appreciate how he acted like I was a big inconvenience. When he came to take our order, we ordered the bruchetta and marinara mussels for our appetizer. My husband ordered the rib eye and I had my usual pasta. We had finished up our appetizers and 3 people walked by our table multiple times each, not bothering to pick up our plates after we stacked them. We were the only ones on the restaurant side. This usually wouldn't bother me but William's unkind attitude had me in a bit of a sour mood. Will brought out our entrees and left. He was not being friendly at all. He put me under the impression that I was being a bother to him when I did not try to cause an issue. He asked us if we wanted dessert and unfortuantely we were too full. I had thanked him and said we were full but the check would be great but he walked away in the middle of talking. It really made me annoyed because I have always spoke positively about this place but last night's experience was not good.
