| - I really enjoyed this. We did the upper longer slip line. I read the reviews and people seemed to complain about the price for a ride that lasted 15 or 20 seconds. How about this, don't do it then. It shouldn't come as a shock to anyone how long this lasts or how fast the are going because these people on the slip lines are literally flying over your head anywhere you go here. It's very clear how long it lasts and how fast people go way before you have to buy tickets.
Also another simple deduction, there are 4 upper and 4 lower slip lines. You can see these people have full body harnesses on. It's going to take time to get things ready and you can see the line, so you know there will be somewhat of a wait. If you don't like lines don't do it, it's all very simple. I don't mind lines, it's a part of life pretty much every where you go. I enjoy being with my wife tons, for us it's a time to talk and just enjoy each other's company.
Some complained about the cost, these kinda things aren't cheap, it takes a lot of employees, 3 large steel structures, with elevators, and I'm sure super high insurance and the need to turn a profit. I get it.
So, for us we enjoyed the experience, on the day we went it's was crowded as you can see from the picture and I thought things went quite smoothly. We got in on the time we requested and the employees did a fine job from what I saw.
We paid the $40 for all the pictures, in fact the pictures I am posting are some of the ones we got. People also complained about the cost here. For us and the way I look at picture like this. I paid not just for some pictures, I paid for memories, a beautiful moment in time I was able to spend with my beautiful wife. Now, that memory will last me a lifetime. My recommendation is to give this a try, flying high over the Fremont Street Experience.
