We had the misfortune of having our 17 year old cat go into renal failure on the 4th of July. Obviously our regular vet was not open, but we were lucky enough to find PVEAH. They handled us with kid gloves and got us right in to a private room (bonus points, but then again, a bawling lady in the waiting room is probably bad for business). Melissa the vet tech and Dr. Halterman explained everything to us, were patient and compassionate in such a tough time. We were able to pay before our cat was euthanized, so we were able to walk right out afterwards and go home. My mom works at a different vet and PVEAH charged $10 more than hers would have - on a holiday - so I feel the cost was VERY fair.
I had already planned on writing a rave review, but then we received a very touching card from Dr. H and Melissa - which really shows they are not a business that is all about the money, get them in, get them out, next patient....
Even on a hectic holiday, the staff made us feel like they cared about both us and our cat - I will now recommend PVEAH to *EVERYONE* I know!
