Went to to wine taste Glenfiddich whisky tasting @ TWM Centennial. It wasn't too bad but I didn't really learn anything new. I got the chance to taste the 12 yr, 14, 15, 18 whisky. 1 hour. Lady usher was a little pushy rushing ppl out at the end. The senior next to me gave me his souvenir shot glass. But I was told sternly one per customer when I was leaving even though I told her the guy next to me gave me his. Many seats were empty even though they pre-poured. I wonder if they are going to re-pour them back in a bottle?
If they are that stingy over some souvenir shot glass at a wine tasting, I don't think I'd be interested in any future events or recommend them. Go to the chocolate and wine at Venetian. No one cares about your souvenir glasses over there. At TWM, $20 for a shot glass worth of Glenfiddich and a souvenir shot glass is hardly worth it. Even stingier when you count in the ~$400 in whisky we spent so far this year at Total Wine. Of course if they carry Yamazaki here on a regular basis, it'd be much more than that.
