  • I am a huge fan of small bites, instead of a large entree. I love having a taste of everything. This restaurant fulfills that requirement in a great way. There are so many to choose from. We had trouble deciding what to get but here are the ones we chose and if we liked them or not. (note: their menu changes from time to time) Coca Foie Gras - LOVED this dish. "coca" is a flat Spanish bread that is delicious, it is crunchy and softens with the sauce on top. This bread was topped with beets and foie gras. Everything was cooked perfectly and the flavors melded together like a perfect bite. Spanish Tortilla - Think of this like a frittata with potatoes in it. This was delicious and it was the first thing to disappear off of our table. This is worthy of ordering as a side dish to your other tapas. Serrano Tender - Prime tenderloin on top of the coca bread and then topped with foie gras. This missed the mark for us. The meat wasn't that tender and there was not a lot of flavor to it. I would pass on this next time. Octopus a la Gallega - These were coin sized pieces of tender octopus served on top of a half dollar sized formed potato, the sauce is heavy on the Spanish paprika and I found it a little bitter at the end. Not one of our favorites, would probably not order this again. Brava Potatoes - spicy potatoes - this is one of my go to tapas whenever I visit a Spanish restaurant. I can usually gauge the level of excellence by this simple dish. These were some of the best I have ever had. The potatoes were perfectly prepared and the sauce was divine. This is a must have. Even if you are just sitting at the bar for some Sangria, you have to order this. Mixed Paella - NOTE, if you want Paella or any of the larger entrees you MUST order them immediately. They can take up to one hour to be ready. So do not delay. Having said that, the wait is worth it. This Paella was delicious, with smoky undertones and the best rice I've had in a restaurant. By the way, I am not a fan of rice, that's my husband's go to dish and yet I ate this too, it was that good. This restaurant is in the main lobby of the Aria, it is loud, there is a lot of activity around you and it's worth coming in for a bite. The staff went above and beyond and the drinks were good. You can eat as little or as much as you want here, but this is not a quick place to eat. Make sure you have time and sit down and RELAX.
