| - I joined this studio last year on an excellent promotional offer of 30 days for $40. It is a lovely space with a nice staff. They have a pretty packed schedule of classes to suit almost any schedule. The classes are regular yoga, not the trendy hot yoga, but I prefer regular yoga, especially for a "newbie" or casual yoga person like me. There were some teachers that I liked less (mostly just one who seemed to me out of touch with the reality that the class would have people of differing levels of ability and/or that not everyone is a tall, skinny, long legged, flexible person and therefore that she might need to offer more optional adjustments for those people), but most teachers were truly lovely and compassionate. The classes are a little "spiritual", not just athletic, so if that bothers you, this may not be the studio for you. My biggest reason for the 4th star (everything else merited 3 in my opinion) is how the administration were so understanding and compassionate. There was a moment when my financial situation changed drastically and I had to cancel my membership. I was a few days into a new month and because I hadn't taken any classes that month yet, they cancelled my membership retroactively and refunded my month's dues. It was a truly understanding thing to do and I seldom see businesses really care for individuals in such a way. I was actually quite touched by how nice it was and will go back after I finish my schooling and have the extra $ for a membership!
