  • I called a cab with checker cab and was told it would be at my place in 20 min. I called 25 min later and was told wait 20 more minutes. And again after 25 minutes more I called and was told they weren't sending a cab to me because they were too busy. Ridiculous! I live one block from the strip, 5 blocks South of Freemont, in prime cab area with several cab stands within walking distance. So, I walked up to Freemont and there were at least 4 cabs sitting in line doing nothing!!! This is absolute shit. I was over an hour late to an appointment to get my car (the shopped stayed open just for me) because the cabs strung me along while they sat at hotel cab stands. I really hope uber and lyft put a lot of these shitty cabs companies under. Good riddance!!!
