  • Recently attended a Chicagoans in the Desert holiday dinner there- Wow! From the moment I stepped in the cozy place, I felt like I was back home in my Italian neighborhood in ChiTown. Once the food came, I didn't want to leave...the freshness of the salad & tasty dressing, the thick perfectly seasoned pasta sauce & the highlight for me was the meatballs- it was like my Mom came down from heaven & was in the kitchen preparing dinner for us- PRICELESS!!! Add to that a phenomenal table side Magician and a live singer, who I thought was a Dean Martin soundtrack playing and the friendliest staff in town & you have a night spent back in the old neighborhood!
