| - 3.5 stars for this visit, I will round up to 4.
My friend suggested we come here for dinner since he was in the mood for Asian food. District One is trendy Vietnamese fusion restaurant. I had trouble finding parking (Saturday night), so had to park across the street.
Service was good, and people checked on us regularly and refilled our waters. The menu wasn't huge, and I decided to pick one of their specialty dishes, lobster pho.
The pho comes with a whole lobster, and a decent amount of meat. While the dish was tasty overall, I was actually expecting the broth to be richer, considering that it was cooked with an entire lobster.
The menu did say market price, and I knew lobster wouldn't be cheap, but the bowl of lobster pho ended up costing $49, and after tax and tip, I spent $61 on my meal. Not really worth it in my opinion. I could have bought an entire fresh lobster and made my own pho for under $30.
Not super impressed by my first visit, but I'm sure other dishes are more reasonably priced, and there were many seemingly appealing dishes on the menu.
