Are you employed by some cheap bastard company in this town (casinos)? Then Fremont or one of the Healthcare partners companies is covered under your insurance.
Coming here is only marginally better than sitting at home and Googling your symptoms and then self medicating from your medicine cabinet or street vendors.
If you come here on an odd time and see only 5 cars in the parking lot and 2 people in the waiting room you think you are in luck right?
Wrong!!
Been here before? Still fill out the same paperwork you did when you first came here. Then take a seat. 20 minutes pass and they call your name. It's a trick, false hope, they just want to check some vitals and weigh you. They send you right back out to the waiting room. Don't worry there are only 2 people on front of you.
Sit your ass in the waiting room for at least another hour and a half after you check in. Finally after at least 1.5-2 hours they call you back to see the doctor. A little long but not a terrible wait right?
Wrong again.
Now you are sitting in the exam room, you can hear commotion in the back hall. Shouldn't be long. Just sit in the office another 20-30 minutes before the doctor sees you and read all the medical memos on the wall. Now the doctor comes in and check you out for maybe 5 minutes tops. You might see a tech for X-rays if its necessary but you just waited 2-3 hours on average just to see the doctor for 5 minutes.
Bring a book, your phone AND your charger if you want to watch YouTube or play a game while waiting. This place puts your battery life and patience to the test every time you come. Don't plan your day around a walk in. If it seems to good to be true it is.
