The Benedum is a beautiful theater. The old 1920 architecture is breath taking. They have done such a great job preserving this place. There really isn't a bad seat at the Benedum. No matter where you are, you have a nice view of the stage. There are always plenty of workers staffed to make finding your seat easy and painless, and to help turnover in the bathroom line to be quick. Recently, a new bar area with additional restrooms were added, which was a plus. The staff is SO friendly and polite.
One thing I dislike is they make you purchase a plastic up with a lid for an additional $3.50-ish to take your drink into the theater instead of serving it that way to begin with. They also wait too long to open the doors to the show often. People will still be trying to sit down when the lights go off for the show to being because they didn't open the doors until 5-10 min before showtime. Other than those two things, I love this theater and will continue to go there. We see the nutcracker every year for Christmas and it's highly recommended!
