  • I love Island Flavor!! Two of my friends recommended this place so I went ahead and gave it a try. I ordered combination short ribs and chicken katsu with brown rice and macaroni salad and half a pound of ahi poke with the japanese seasoning. My ahi poke was fresh and nicely seasoned. Their servings were huge!!! You may want to try to share a plate with a friend. The short ribs were cooked perfectly, as well as the chicken katsu. I liked how the batter was crispy, yet the chicken was still moist. The brown rice was overcooked, and I did not care for the macaroni salad. Overall, still a great Hawaiian joint! I'll be back for more!
