  • What a great concept. Who'd have thought to make a martini with tea? Thank goodness someone did 'cuz it was amazing. The food? Again, who'd have thought that one can find true soul food in Chandler, Arizona. I am here to tell you it's there in all it's splendid glory. The macaroni and cheese was every bit as good as any I've ever eaten and the (tiny) shrimp were seasoned perfectly. Desserts are gorgeous and judging by my slice of red velvet cake, homemade. Yum! The space is pleasant, if a little compact, especially with live music. I did note that the occupants at the table next to ours were unhappy that they were out of several items. A testament to the food? I think so. And since I was on vacation I didn't pay much attention to the prices but the bottom line is this- I will go back there whenever I'm in AZ!
