| - Been here twice now and both times were about equally satisfying! I like their expansive menu, the service, and the ambiance of the restaurant. However, the food is really just slightly above average.
A fantastic place for people with Celiac disease, they can make every single item on their menu gluten-free! This was a huge treat for one of my friends who has Celiac.
Back to the food...I tried their Friday fish fry and it was...alright. Large portions, but nothing to write home about. I tried their seared duck the second time I went, which was delicious, but a fairly small portion and relatively expensive ($21). Their cheese curds are also about just average.
This place does NOT take reservations, but you can call ~20 minutes ahead and they'll put your name down. Keep in mind that they require your full party to be there in order to get seated, though.
I want to like this place more, but between the long wait we usually end up having, and the barely above-average food, I don't see myself coming here too often. It's also fairly small so I wouldn't bring parties of larger than 6 here! If you're in the area and looking for an upscale-ish restaurant, I would check this place out, but there are definitely better alternatives.
