  • Let me just say that this wasn't my first taste of Matt's. I've enjoyed some of this deliciousness at the Sky Harbor location, but this spot has a much better vibe and the same great food! I love that they use locally roasted coffee (Cave Creek) and everything tastes so fresh. I went in this morning and thoroughly enjoyed the special for today which was biscuits and gravy. It was more like: perfectly flakey biscuit smothered in chunks of sauces with just enough gravy. Someomes this combo can be runny, mushy, taste too fried, or be far too heavy. This dish was none of those. Instead, it's everything you want it to be. Tasty, great texture, and a little spicy. So good!
