  • Last July, I took a cruise on The Love Boat, oops, I mean the Goodtime III and wanted to say to the crew, "It was nice sailin' with ya'll!" It's been a long time since I've taken a Lake Erie cruise and now realize it has been too long. I actually bumped into a couple whose wedding I photographed 17 years ago and caught up on how their family has grown. Sorry, I digress. The only suggestion I would make to improve the experience is to ask the DJ to have a drink and relax a little. During the limbo contest, he was a bit testy with the crowd which was blocking his view as he asked participants to exit the contest for failure to cross under the stick successfully. Of course, I can relate to getting tired of asking semi-drunk people to do something and being ignored. If you're looking for a different sightseeing experience in the Cleveland area, the Goodtime III is well worth the reasonable price of admission.
