Great steak house!! Classy, well-lit. Great service. Sometimes, restaurants in Vegas are so over-crowded, dark, loud, and you feel like you're elbowing the person next to you to get some space, like at a club. Haha! I want to be eat my food at a leisurely pace and in peace...without any strobe lights.
We were greeted & seated promptly. The service was attentive and the food came out at a nice steady pace. We ordered...
1. Napa Valley Cabernet-Nice and warm.
2. Pea soup topped with croutons-Good flavor. Just wished it was hotter.
3. Fritto misto-Nice presentation of the fried goodies in a silver metal basket. Tasty batter, but I wish everything was crispier. The appetizer was accompanied by lemon and also a lemon/butter sauce. It was separated when it arrived to our table. A quick whisk to make it look tighter and more appetizing was nice. Sauce was good though.
4. Truffle Mac and Cheese-This was the bomb!!! I could have eaten this whole side for dinner & not have any regrets!!
5. Onion rings-fried just right. They bought out the ranch dressing upon request, but forgot the ketchup!! :/
6. Asparagus-Good. Nothing remarkable.
7. Sea bass with teeny tiny potatoes. The bass was perfectly cooked. Yummy dish.
8. Filet mignon 10oz charbroiled-Asked for it medium, but it came out medium well. The rub on the steak was fantastic. Just wish it was fired better!! A steakhouse should not really make mistakes like this.
9. Tomahawk steak topped with marrow crumble-THIS WAS EXCELLENT & perfectly cooked!! Soooooo good!! 2 people could easily eat this 18-20oz steak and not leave hungry!!
10. Chocolate Creme brûlée-This was FABULOUS!!! A creamy chocolate fantasy!!
11. Apple crumble-This was ok. We just had some home-made apple crumble at home with vanilla ice cream the night before. THAT was amazing. This fell short. Hardly touched. The freshly made whipped cream was just beautiful!!
