  • I had such a bad experience with the 3 guys who came to my property from Mr Rooter. Two guys showed up: an "experienced plumber" and a guy in training. I was concerned how the work was being preformed and asked for a manager to come out. The manager arrived and pretended to rectify the situation. He said they would need to cut into my roof and that the cost would be in the thousands. I stated getting irritated as I knew they were taking me for a ride. The manager eventually agreed that it wasn't necessary, but that they should cut into the wall to change some of the draining pipes. He promised the wall would be patched after the work was done. He then explained multiple procedures would be needed to fix the plumbing and pushed me to sign for a bundle of services saying that multiple processes would be necessary and he could give me a bulk price. I thought he was being sincere, signed, and he left. The original plumber then fixed my plumbing problem with ONLY ONE of the procedures I agreed to pay for (which the guys knew would). I tried to ask for a refund for the other services, but he said, "lady you signed and you have to pay now" Then he even tried to start adding additional charges saying that he needs to do $9,000 worth of work to fix the "real problem." Then I noticed the mirror in the bathroom was broken. He tried to say that it must have been like that before! I was outraged! He eventually admitted that maybe he broke it on accident, but I didn't have proof it wasn't broken before. He said, "Ok I deduct $100 from your bill." I was ready to get him out of my house, so I reluctantly paid him $1000 (what I supposedly owed) and they left. I only realized AFTER they left that he didn't patch up the hole in the wall and he left silicon all over the bathroom floor. I thought about calling and complaining, but the LAST thing I wanted was anybody else from that company coming into my house again.
