Talk to me about bubble tea, and I will roll my eyes at you.
Fruit Jungle is the ONLY spot that I will, without a shame, grasp a bubble tea at.
Extracted from a sign they pridefully had up, they boast their bubble teas as... (and, mind your manners, there is absolutely no spellcheck necessary):
- NOT POWDER FAVORS ! BUT REAL JUICE !
- NOT HALF CUP OF ICE CUBES ! BUT SUPER ICED COOL !
- PEARLS NOT ROCKY OR DELICATE SOIL, BUT CHEWY AND YUMMEI
Look at all of those guarantees! What could go wrong with that?
What we had here was a $4 Taro Milk Shake (blended with milk and FREE TAPIOCA - golly goshness!) and balls, lots and lots of juicy Satay Beef Balls ($2.25 for 3 pieces) and Lobster Balls ($2.95 for 4 pieces).
Perhaps the best bouncy, juicy, tasty and warm balls I've ever laid upon my tongue. The Taro Shake was out of the world amazing - no word but "ugh" could describe this phenomenon.
Fruit Jungle is on another level. DO IT.
It's always the hardly dainty ones that get you.
