My daughter and I did a walk in for haircuts on a weekday, late afternoon. The wait wasn't too long since they had enough stylists on shift. Nina was our stylist and I'm glad she was because she gave both of us the exact cut we requested. My daughter has extremely thick hair and she knew how to work with the texture of it to thin out some of the heaviness but still give it volume. My hair is thinner so she gave me plenty of layers to create some volume, too. The thing I really appreciated about Nina was that she didn't try to force me into random small talk. I'm not really good at it so I'm glad she recognized that and just did what she had to do. She also took pride in her work and asked if we were satisfied before she wrapped up our cuts.
The only weird part was they seemed unsure how to charge me. A child's cut says $11.95 on their sign (my daughter is only 8) but they charged me the adult price because they put layers in it. Not a problem for me since I was really satisfied with her cut but just something to keep in mind. Also a heads up, they only take cash so be aware. There is an ATM in the shop but it has a small surcharge.
