  • Went in for a full face threading service. I have had this done many times at other locations. I have sensitive skin and can get a rash from the oil most threading salons use at the end of the service to calm the skin. For years I have been asking not to use the oil on me and have had no problems with my skin after... just a little pain from the hair pulled out. I have had no changes in my skin care products for about 2 years and am lucky to only get a few blemishes during that time of the month that are usually gone in 2-3 days. I have had no changes in my diet and do not take any medication, pills or drugs of any sort. I am personally trained in skin care and fully understand that break outs can and should be expected particularlyif you are pulling hair and leaving pores wide open for debris to get trapped. With that said, I have experienced the worst break out I have ever had in my life after my service on Wednesday. I came in with a bare and clean face. My service was typical and the woman who did my threading was very kind and comforting. She applied brow powder after which was nice. I washed it off an hour later and my brows were ok. One arch was flatter but I can fill it in when it matters. They were a little bit thin too. The next morning I woke up with bumps all over my forehead down my temples to just under my ears. At first I expected it was a rash but by mid day white pustules were showing. I didn't wear any makeup for 2 days because I didn't want to clog my pores and stopped using my scrub so I wouldn't spread any bacteria. I have had a little success treating the break out with out overtreating it. Many new blemishes have come up in other places. These are not anything like the hormonal break out I have gotten. The bumps are deep in the skin and are painful and hard. I have over 60 bumps in 5 days and they are only in the places on my face where she pulled hair. I use a spring tool to maintain facial hair around my mouth chin and cheeks and never have this problem because I clean it after each use and only use it on clean skin. I don't want to start guessing or making up my own assumptions as to why this has happened. I am posting bare skin pictures 5 days later because something is definitely not normal. Thank goodness the lighting in my bathroom is defusing. My face looks like the bottom side of a Crunch bar. 8 (
