  • Seriously, you get what you pay for, and in our case, we got a lot! We got a really great deal on Groupon to stay here. We were aware BEFOREHAND when we saw it was a Diamond Resorts property that there might be some timeshare spiel, but it's not forced on you...we can attest to that. The 2-bedroom villas are comfy & spacious. Ours had a jetted tub in EACH of the 2 bathrooms and that alone was worth the price. I'm not going to say it was an EXCEPTIONAL room...if you want that, go pay $300-up at the Bellagio, seriously. The room had its flaws, but none that affected our stay or our comfort. We loved that it had a full kitchen, complete with full-sized fridge, full oven/range, microwave, AND DISHWASHER. There are cooking utensils, dishware and pots & pans you can use, so you don't have to spend a lot on eating out-- especially since the grocery store is right across the street! The resort is also close to shopping (the Premium Outlets are just a couple blocks away) and restaurants, but the best part is THERE IS NO CASINO ON THE GROUNDS. Because there is no casino, it tends to be less smokey, so better for families. The grounds are great and there is no bellhop service, so call me crazy, but I don't need someone waiting on me hand & foot and am capable of shuffling my own luggage, thank you very much! They do have the big bell hop carts at your disposal, which was handy. We didn't really need to rely on staff too much-- but they were very friendly when checking in and the couple time we had to call Front Desk, they were very friendly & patient. I guess we're just low-maintenance vacationers! The pool is nice, with little water slides, but the water was pretty cold, even while the weather was hot outside. They have big hammocks around the pool area and it was really relaxing. It was no big deal for us with the towels, especially since brought our own-- and hey, the rules are simple. You can complain all you want about towel cards and this & that, but it's pretty basic- DON'T TRY TO TAKE THE TOWEL :P All in all, we had a great stay. I liked it better here than other cheaper places we have stayed. We didn't order food here, but can't be any different than other hotel food, which can be pretty bleh to begin with. For the price you pay when you get a good deal, you're not going to find similar accommodations. We'll be back in December!
